Sam will be a part of Maui Comics Presents..., an art show showcasing local artists at the Wailuku Art Space, 53 N Market Street in Wailuku.  On exhibit will be his art boards from Pineapple Man #9 and #10 with proceeds going to the Lahaina Emergency Relief.  You can meet him in person at the opening reception on Oct. 18th from 5pm to 9pm.  The exhibit runs through Nov. 2nd.

Two Maui creators will be debuting their comics at this event.  R Kikuo Johnson's Maui Uncharted and Lahaina Hallelujah have never before been printed and will be released as a double-sided comic art print, limited to 40 copies sold ONLY at this event. All proceeds from the sale of these comics will go to support the Lahaina Emergency Relief - West Maui Wildfires fund organized by Michael McCartney.   Bailey Onaga's comic, My Messed Up Life Still Thrills You, is a slice of life that follows Bailey's time living in Japan. The first printing is limited to 200 copies.

The works of Edwin Ushiro, Chase Tokutaro, Napua Ahina, Drew Gutierrez, Courtney Holland, Todd Bernardy and his daughter, Pania, will also be showcased. If you love comics, local art, pop culture, Maui history, and everything in between you won't want to miss this art show. 

The Pineapple Man and Friends exhibit comes to a close this Friday on April 26.  Join us for our Pau Hana event at The ARTS at Mark's Garage from 5pm to 8pm.  Browse this diverse collection and meet the artists!  A portion of the sales goes to  support the gallery;  100% of Sam's art sales will be donated to support The ARTS at Mark's Garage and their mission to   provide a safe and inclusive space for creators to collaborate, experiment and educate.  Admission is FREE!

Join us for a special pop up event at The ARTS at Mark's Garage on Saturday, April 20, from noon to 5pm.  Art Wong will have posters and stickers available.  Roy Chang will be doing Get Funkofied and Custom Pepe commissions. Tymir Streeter will be selling books, stickers and prints.  Nobu will have his collection of plush creations and prints available.   If we're lucky, Mark Gould will also make an appearance.  The Pineapple Man and Friends exhibit will go through April 26.  Admission is FREE!  Hope to see you there.
